Since I don't see Hank Sr. or Jr., Garth, Johnny, Waylon or Willy mentioned I have to assume you don't actually love music but rather love noise......;-)
Right now I am listening to blues legend Bukka White. Before that, I was ridin' out to Celia Cruz. I like it all - reggae, blues, salsa, old skool cuban music from Compay Segundo. I grew up on Southern Rock and classic country.
I want to give you a few voices to check out on the trail. I think Greg will dig these guys more than the others though. They may be a little hard to find, but worth the effort.

i dont know about you guys but i cant listen to music while outdoors. the music that you are supposed to listen to when you are outside is the music of nature. its the best music i have ever heard
Africa Unite by Bob Marley is such a good song. i have been listening to all of the marleys a lot more than usual lately. Stephen marley-one good spliff is a great song too
