This picture reminded me of the summit of Guadalupe Peak. The wind can be challenging and amazing. I always laugh a little when I get blown down. My niece and I have had some memorable experiences with the wind....mostly in the Guadalupe Mountains.…
Cool Pic.......It looks like the wind might have been blowing just a little bit. My niece and I almost went there last summer. Is there camping at the trailhead?

- Texas, Colorado, New Mexico. I never thought of myself as a peak bagger, but while resting in the tent a while back, I came to realize that I've now got 20 peaks under my belt. I hope to add five more this next year.

The mountains are calling me...
It's been about 90 days now since my boots have seen the trail and I am missing it really bad. I can only go so long, and it seems like every thing starts reminding me of the mountains. I was driving to work the other morning and there was a bank of clouds in the east that looked just like a mountain range. I drink my morning coffee and my mind drifts off to times I have stopped on the trail to enjoy a cup while looking an an awesome view. Yep......they are calling my name...........
