The best cup of coffee I have ever had: (Starbucks has nothing on this)
We woke up before the sun and packed up camp. Wading through wet and frosty grass and dodging patches of snow, it took us about 30 minutes to negotiate our way by headlamp to gain the CDT again. The mountains are calling me...

It's been about 90 days now since my boots have seen the trail and I am missing it really bad. I can only go so long, and it seems like every thing starts reminding me of the mountains. I was driving to work the other morning and there was a bank of clouds in the east that looked just like a mountain range. I drink my morning coffee and my mind drifts off to times I have stopped on the trail to enjoy a cup while looking an an awesome view. Yep......they are calling my name...........

Coty, you should definitely make the Maroon Bells trip--we spent 7 days doing a 30 mile loop and the view was spectacular!
