I took it up about 10 years ago, though I've been fishing since I was about 6. I've only been fly fishing in the state of Kentucky but I'm thinking about trying some of the rivers in the Smokies this year, maybe do a week long trip alternating hiking with fishing.

I'm an amateur too, but I still land a few fish.
