I wanted to thank you all again for the advice on the roadtrip this summer. We had a blast. I'm starting to write about the trip on my site if any of your are interested.
Thanks again.
Sweet! Great question and some really good info so far. I can tell you right now there is not much to do in the kansas/missouri section of that trip. Take a rest and eat some steak while you are out there.
You are dead on about the Road Trip USA book. I did use it while traveling, and its roadside attractions kept me from going mad while driving through Kansas and Nebraska.
Awesome, sounds like I need to get myself a better camera. :) 30 ft still pretty close. Bison are the neatest, and getting to see them in the wild is always a fantastic experience.
Great Bison and GC photos int he OP group. I am glad you actually used the threads, it should help keep the organized and faster to page through. How did you get that close to the Bison? Looks like you were laying underneath that one almost. Great shots.
Hey Southern Hiker. Great to see more Georgia Hikers on here. Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions for the site.
