i've heard good things about them. i use atlas 1235's. their 35" model. they weigh more than yours, but i think i need a heavier model for the backcountry here. plus they have massive stainless steel cleats and heel lifts to help on the elevation changes. stay safe on the trails !!!!

James,

Thanks. I use Northern Lites. They are lultralight snowshoes. Weighing just 43 oz per pair, these 30" snowshoes are 57 oz lighter than 30" MSR Lightning Ascents which weigh 100 oz per pair.

nice video, i spent many of my vacations in summer and a few in winter up in the u.p when i lived in wisconsin. i have relatives in houghton-hancock , iron mountain areas. their snowfall and winters certainly rivals that in the mountains of idaho. snowshoeing that amount of miles even in the relatively flats of the u.p. is certainly a good workout. what brand snowshoes did you use and how did they perform ? good job on the video.
